Guardians of Light was founded with a vision of a guild filled with friendly and fun members excited to share the experiences of Ultima Online together. We love to play this game and have very few rules on how to conduct yourself as a G/L member...

• Absolutely NO killing/looting of guildmates. It will NOT be tolerated and will be cause for immediate removal.

• Respect toward fellow guildmembers and any future alliance members.

• Consensual sparring/PvP between guildmates.

• Removal from G/L due to severe inactivity (not logging in for 60 days). All members will have 30 days from the time they are removed to come back (no hard feelings, RL has a tendency of getting in our way at times =p ) and regain their previous title. After 30 days members may still return but will begin back at Lvl 1 rank. (details below)

• Members shall refrain from excessive use of foul and objectionable language.. In Guild Chat and Guild Forums

• Members shall use the Guild Forums for their intended purposes in the appropriate threads. Inappropriate content will not be tolerated. This includes (but is not limited to) spam, pornographic images, excessive foul language. Violation can result in loss of posting privileges.  The forums are provided by a guildmember via a personal server.  The hosting of the forums or website will not be jeopardized by inappropriate behavior.

     Guardians of Light do not have a Senate or a Council. This guild belongs to the members. Every member will be treated fairly and equally. When a topic is addressed that needs a vote, the entire membership will have a vote. And, every member from the Guildmaster on down will gain in rank accordingly. (details below)

There will be 5 levels of rank to achieve upon entering this guild. All rank is based solely on join date. Upon joining G/L, you will be assigned the lvl 1 title. Every 3 months after, you will receive your "promotion" (for lack of a better word) and raise in rank until you reach lvl 5 (1 year anniversary).

• Level 1 - Sentry of Light
• Level 2 - Defender of Light
• Level 3 - Protector of Light
• Level 4 - Brother/Sister of Light
• Level 5 - Lord/Lady of Light

Every RL member can guild up as many secondary characters as they wish. Secondary characters will be given the title of "X's Proxy".

     Our philosophy on planned and spontaneous hunts is very simple. If you want to participate, lets have some fun. If you're busy in RL or just want to play/work on something else IG that night, by all means do so. There is no right or wrong in how you play this game, the only thing we ask of you is to enjoy yourself. Never is there a need to apologize or hide from us...

Ex.) If you enjoy chatting in guild chat while crafting and others are hunting, never feel as if you HAVE to stop what you are doing.
